Make Marketing Simple For the Non-Marketer

As a salesperson for AT&T for most of my life, I fell in love with direct response copywriting while attending a seminar with Dan Kennedy back in the 90's. I was mesmerized by the concepts and the magic that copy could have on a business. He told stories of how a simple series of letters could completely transform a company from average to outstanding.

I was hooked. 

I studied everything I could about writing: all about stories, business sales letters, websites that convert, sales and landing pages, writing books/ghostwriting, email sequences in all forms (nurturing, sales, follow up, engagement) and blogging.

And it all came down to how to put it all together to make a sale - or multiple sales.

I found that I was pretty good at generating sales, ideas, strategies, and out-of-the-box tactics for bringing in the cash. Friends would ask me how to solve their copy, advertising, and sales problems. I realized there's a big blue ocean of people who aren't marketers that need marketing help - desperately. 

I love the challenge of moving people from the idle state with their credit card safely tucked away in their wallet, to having them reach into the wallet, open it up, and enter those magically numbers that make the cash register ring. (even if you don't have a cash registers that makes noise)

And the reason for being, is to deliver a product or service that will change their life for-the-better. It's all about a transformation - for them and you.

And marketing doesn't have to be complicated and expensive... unless you like that sort of thing.

My Values

Being fair and kind is my DNA. Secondly, it's about finding the easiest solution that is unique, compelling, and simple.

Let's do it right and let's do it the easy way. Let's find the shortest and quickest path to 'YES'.

The truth is, some will join you now, some will join you later, and some just aren't going to come no matter what you do. So let's focus on the low hanging fruit and run with it. All too often people obsess about those that are never going to be part of your tribe no matter what you do, they just aren't that into you. And, (drumroll please...) there are more people who will love what you offer, who are outliers.

I value preparation and planning. Let's be sure what we're doing and why. My experience and background are what you're buying. I'm looking for the best path to get you to your goals without misrepresenting you, being a scammer, or other crazy schemes. 

What's the Outcome?

The truth is there are a variety of ways to solve any problem, but let's focus on your outcome. What is it you truly want? What will make the biggest impact for your client?

Honor differences

We come from different places and backgrounds, that are reflected in our values and passions. Respect for others is a value without compromise. I take the assignment seriously while enjoying time with my clients.

Know Your Lane

We love being an armchair quarterback on a Sunday afternoon, however what you want may look more like a purple pony with three legs instead of the Kentucky Derby winner. Trust the system and the process.
